Extended Family and Christmas

Saturday was awesome. I spent Saturday morning with 15 women at a dear friend's home. Fellowship with these women, age ranging from 35 to 80 was a beautiful. The conversations were memorable and they touched my heart and nourished my soul. During mid afternoon, I was surprised by a visit of a dear friend that I have known for 30 years. The evening concluded with a combined birthday and Christmas celebration with extended friends and family. What a day of miracles and blessings.

Allergies

I have been haunted by allergies all of my life. As a child, they were referred to as hay fever. Later in life, as my level of sress increase, so did the frequent occurrences of allergies. Regular shots were effective for a few years; however, recently, even shots have not provided relief. One recent trigger is increased stress level at work and the outside environment connected to this job. Letting go and changing my diet is crucial. In other words, I will hire someone to clean my house, bathe dogs once a week, and monitor work related stressors. In addition, alcohol, caffeine, eggs, milk and wheat have been eliminated from my diet.
