Friends

When Michael Jackson passed away in June, I spent days remembering all that he has given us. Many people spoke of his many talents and others still just talk. This week, I lost a dear friend, Sharon Glenn. Her death came at a time when we are losing so many great Americans. Sharon may not be known by the media or Hollywood. She is know by her family and friends as one classy lady.

Sharon...I will miss you. Thanks for telling me how important it is to just accept that sunshine that comes into my life each day. Far too many nights, I was still at work at 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. If I pass away tomorrow, I don't want my life to be in vain.

Sharon is now in a better place and her pain is gone. I love you Sharon. Thanks for the memories and the talks.

God will look after your family.

Vacation Or Rest and Relaxation

This year's vacation plans were changed at the last minute due to unforeseen pressures from work. As the flow of life unfolded, it appears that I simply needed rest and relaxation. As a matter of fact, I spent the first day of my vacation reading and answering 500 emails. How sad!! How did I fall into this state? When did work become such an electronic burden? Americans have become slaves to work and technology. We don't take the time to share a cup of tea with a neighbor or simply w...

This journey occurred after I prayed for God to change me in 2000. Since I had prayed a similar prayer in 1981, I did not face the journey with fear. Some of the most important lessons, I have learned on this 12 year journey are follows: 1) Seek and demonstrate unconditional love, and Learn to love yourself. 2) Remove toxic friends and relationships from your life. 3) Forgive those who have caused harm in your life. This forgiveness is liberating. 4) Be opened to love and seek adventure. 5) Turn your life, dreams, needs, desires and hopes over to God. 6) Live each day as if it were your last day on plant earth. 7) Find out which talents bring you joy and peace. Used these talents. 8) Continue to breathe and never stop dancing...it is good for the soul. 9) Take care of your body by ...
