A Thankful Woman's Journey...

If you really want to find out what's important in life, take some time to observe the animal kingdom. Moms are taking care of their off springs and there is balance. Animals are enjoying planet earth and all that it has too offer. I never saw an animal litter or accumulate material possession which would only collect dirt and be left behind when death calls. Neither have I observed my precious two dogs greet me without being happy. They have always shown me unconditional love. If I were to examine everything that I "think" I have accomplished in life and everyone I have loved and wanted to love, it all boils down to what's on my mind during my last minutes on earth. When my time is up and my master calls me home, will I want another electronic device, a new car or a bigger home in a more affluent neighborhood? Will I want another promotion or just another job? Will I carry an evil thought in my heart or will I go another day without a smile? I only pray that...

This year I realized that the one dream which I have chased for twenty years was not chasing me. After this bold revelation, I changed course. Navigating through all of the emotions, judgments and disappointments was not an easy task. At times, I thought that I was a failure. Other times, I tallied up the amount of money spent and this dream and I became sick. At the end of the day, I faced this road of my journey and accept this realization. Sometimes, we past our treasures chasing old dreams.

Thanksgiving was wonderful and the day after was even better.  These two days were spent in reflection for all of  blessings and friends.  Two of my best friends are Dakota (aka-Koty) and Cheyene (aka Boo).  They are always there to give love and attention.  Each day when I arrive home, I am greeted by two eager friends who are extremely happy just to see me.  They jump, lick and swag their tails.  These two canines are a constant reminder that friends come in all types of packages.

  I just purchased an ipad.   Believe me, my goal today was not shopping.  After rising late, I walked the dogs and decided to settle down for a relaxing Sunday.  Then...I decided to review the prices for ipads and one thing lead to another.  Since there are several advancement of technology, I am sure that this ipad will be used everyday.

I spent an absolute awesome day at the Dallas Arboretum on Satrday taking pictures.
