If you really want to find out what's important in life, take some time to observe the animal kingdom. Moms are taking care of their off springs and there is balance. Animals are enjoying planet earth and all that it has too offer. I never saw an animal litter or accumulate material possession which would only collect dirt and be left behind when death calls. Neither have I observed my precious two dogs greet me without being happy. They have always shown me unconditional love.
If I were to examine everything that I "think" I have accomplished in life and everyone I have loved and wanted to love, it all boils down to what's on my mind during my last minutes on earth. When my time is up and my master calls me home, will I want another electronic device, a new car or a bigger home in a more affluent neighborhood? Will I want another promotion or just another job? Will I carry an evil thought in my heart or will I go another day without a smile? I only pray that these are not the last few minutes in my life and that I have time to live, to love and to enjoy this life.
Thank God for small and large miracles. Thank you God for this life.
A thankful servant.

What took me so long? Why do I fill every minute with my day with meetings, emails, and phone calls. Even on vacation, it was extremely difficult to relax on day one, day two and even day three. As a matter of fact, I spent the first day of my vacation reading and answering 500 emails. How sad!! How did I fall into this state? When did work become such an electronic burden?
