Cheyene...Love Came In A Small Package

Cheyene has had a long haul with illnesses, grief and socialization since Dakota died.  She is a trooper and dispels the myth everyday that you can not teach an old dog new tricks.  She has taught me the meaning of unconditional love and that the quality of real love can not be measured by the size of the package.

Weight

Since I married, I have struggled with weight.  No longer will I allow that beast of a relationship to sabotage a quality if life I desire.  It and that has ended.

Remembering Steve Jobs

I love Apple products and the man behind the passion.  My first Mac was introduced to me in a graduate computer class in the early 90's.  Later I persuaded an employer to support the Mac at at work,  but I failed and succeed in this goal. I  was allowed to use the Mac under the conditions that I kept it running.  This challenge moved me forth and provided a sense of accomplishment. When I purchased my first iPad this  year, followed by the iPad2 a few months later, I could not keep the excitement of the possibilities of this product to myself.  This past spring employees at  Cedar Valley College were pushed, persuaded, and pushed some more just to consider the impact the iPad2 could have on education.  One Vet Tech faculty lead the way by piloting the use of iPad2 for supplementing instruction. Later Math faculty were persuaded to join the pilot.  To make a long story short, more and more faculty from various disciplines have come on board. Thank you Steve Jobs for once again m...

Good Bye Garden

My garden has lived a long hot life.  It stood by a novice who planted squash in the summer.  Friday morning, I was surprised to find mature fruit under a decaying vine.

Crazy Boo

What was going on with Boo when this picture was taken? Who knows. She is just crazy at times.  Best part of her is unconditional love.  Pure love.
